Faith Technologies History
1972
In Wisconsin, Roland Stephenson formed a merit-shop electrical contracting company, Town & Country Electric, Inc. Rollie learned the trade from his father who operated an electrical contracting business for more than 20 years.
1980
Eight years later Bill Love founded SKC Electric, Inc. in Kansas. Bill grew the company into one of the largest installers of electrical and communications systems in the Kansas City area.
1998
Town & Country Electric, Inc. and SKC Electric, Inc. were acquired by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Consolidated Capital Corporation, which later became Building One Services Corporation.
2000
Building One Services Corporation merged with Group Maintenance America Corp. The newly-combined company was named Encompass Services Corporation.
2001
Town & Country Electric, Inc. and SKC Electric, Inc. merged together and officially changed their name to Encompass Electrical Technologies – Midwest, Inc. (EET-Midwest).
2002
A successful employee purchase of the assets of EET-Midwest from Encompass Services Corporation results in the formation of Faith Technologies, Inc. The newly formed company brought back the previous brands and began doing business as (d/b/a) Town & Country Electric and SKC Electric.
2005
Faith Technologies, Inc. opens a new office in Atlanta, GA
2008-2009
The Town & Country Electric and SKC Electric brands are transitioned to one unified brand - Faith Technologies.
2009
Faith Technologies, Inc. opens a new office in Tulsa, OK.
