Wisconsin Safety Council

Wisconsin Safety CouncilSince 2002, Faith Technologies has partnered with the Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC), affiliated with OSHA, presenting on various electrical safety topics. The WSC is the state’s leading provider of workplace safety training and programming, and their annual statewide conference is a tremendous benefit to employers and vendors looking to network about safety-related topics. It’s not uncommon to see safety directors from all aspects of the construction industry together in one room here.

On May 16, Faith Technologies was asked to present with Pat Ostrenga from OSHA on NFPA 70E. Our professional development session had great participation and several great questions from people representing their companies from all over Wisconsin. Of over 40 participants, I found the most interesting aspect of the training session to be how almost every employer in attendance had similar struggles with their electrical safety programs.

On May 17 and 18, we spent time at Faith Technologies’ vendor booth networking with roughly 100 other participants from all aspects of safety including fall protection, confined space, and PPE. During this time it was enjoyable networking with a few of the people who sat in on our NFPA 70E professional development session the previous day.

Faith Technologies was honored to participate in this annual event and values being a supporting member of the safety community. Make it a safe day!
