FAITH TECHNOLOGIES RECEIVES TWO 2009 PROJECTS OF DISTINCTION AWARDS FROM
ASSOCIATED BUILDERS & CONTRACTORS OF WISCONSIN

Menasha, Wis. (March 19, 2010) - The Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin has awarded Faith Technologies, a full-service electrical and specialty systems contractor, with two 2009 Projects of Distinction Awards.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin - West Tower Expansion, Milwaukee, Wis., won the Gold Projects Distinction Award in the Electrical $250,000 - $1 million category. Faith Technologies' scope of work on the construction of the 12-story hospital building encompassed the low voltage cabling for the telephones, computers, clinical engineering & biomedical equipment, WLAN and over head paging speakers. Work also included the fiber optic and copper backbone cabling tie-ins to the existing campus infrastructure, the installation of a distributed antenna system for Verizon Networks, a design-assist engagement with Children's Hospital for the Cisco WLAN and the sale and installation of a MessageNet EMACS Emergency Messaging Server.

Holy Wisdom Monastery, Middleton, Wis., won the Silver Projects of Distinction Award in the Electrical $250,000 - $1 million category. Holy Wisdom Monastery is a two story, 30,000 square foot monastery with a zero-carbon footprint on the environment. Faith Technologies, Inc. was the primary electrical contractor for the construction of Holy Wisdom Monastery, and furnished and installed all the site lighting including light poles and concrete bases, excavated and backfilled all underground electrical systems, completed the exterior power and finishes, furnished and installed fire-stopping, furnished and installed/reinstalled all fixtures, all of the electrical demolition, temperature lighting, furnished and installed all the panels (switchgear), furnished and installed the fire alarm systems and completed all of the technology work as specified.

The Projects of Distinction Awards Program recognizes the most distinct construction projects in Wisconsin. Project entries are evaluated by an independent panel of construction experts and winning projects are eligible for entry in ABC’s National Excellence in Construction Awards Program.
