Project Overview:

Hornbeck Offshore Services are a leading provider of technologically advanced, new generation OSVs serving the offshore oil and gas industry, primarily in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and in select international markets. The focus of their OSV business is on complex exploration and production activities, which include deepwater, deep well and other logistically demanding projects. They are also a leading transporter of petroleum products through their tug and tank barge segment serving the energy industry, primarily in the northeastern United States and Puerto Rico. This OPA ’90 Compliant, U.S. Coast Guard Certified double hull oil barge measures 512 feet long, 78 feet wide, and 40 feet deep. It is an ocean-going barge designed to carry 155,000 BBL of fuel oil at 95% capacity. With tug, this barge is designed to travel at approximately 12 knots.
