Project Overview:

This project involved the design build process and procedures for the construction of a child development center for children 6-10 years of age in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. The project began with extensive design meetings to understand the needs of the center and how it will be operated and maintained to ensure a maximum life cycle. This design analysis included cost studies, technology and system conceptual designs for electrical engineering. Once the initial design was understood, Faith Technologies completed Auto-CAD drawings, which included detailed designs and full specifications. After the design phase was completed and accepted, construction started. During construction the process included site surveys, audits, training, consulting, and commissioning. Once the project was complete, maintenance records were developed for the electrical engineered systems.

This project was completed utilizing Faith Technologies’ detailing and Work Smart process. This involved collaborative meetings with all applicable parties to ensure constructability. Detailed delivery schedules were developed, maintained and updated, FTP sites were utilized, etc. Auto-CAD, Microsoft project, Accu-bid along with other software management packages were utilized to develop and maintain this project from concept to delivery.

From the onset to the completion, the electrical engineer was at the center of communication for this project. All collaboration and coordination resulted from the direction and assistance of the electrical engineering team. Faith Technologies completed a full development plan for this project, and also produced and maintained system design and engineering. Once the design element was under construction, testing and commissioning was underway with delivery and maintenance following suit.

In addition, Faith Technologies’ full service in-house design department is staffed with qualified professionals that include licensed engineers, BICSI RCDD’s and designers, as well as CAD Technicians.
