Encircle Health Electrical Contracting Project

Encircle Health is a multi-specialty ambulatory care center, built to provide patients with one location for all of their outpatient healthcare needs. Some of the services offered here include endoscopy, phlebotomy, pulmonary, orthopedics, urology, behavioral health, and complete Imaging & Radiology services including two MRI units. There are also sleep laboratories, a pharmacy, and many skilled physicians.

Faith Technologies served in a collaborative design role, as well as the electrical contractor role for this project. We used the Integrated Project Delivery method and all major contractors, including MEP’s, are provided monthly target cost updates.

Encircle Health is fully modeled in 3D for all structural, architectural and major MEP components. On-site coordination was streamlined through 3D modeling and space coordination prior to construction.

Our CAD Live estimating software served as a great asset in tracking the overall project budget and ongoing scope updates. The design team was focused on achieving this Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Gold project. Power quality and reliability for critical electronic systems are provided by a UPS/Flywheel System. This Carbon Fiber Flywheel operates at approximately 55,000 RPM, and the UPS does not use traditional batteries to provide backup power. The flywheel is designed to carry the UPS Load for approximately 50 seconds, plenty of time. The 400kW generator will be up to speed and transfer the load in less than 10 seconds.
