PLEXUS MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS FACILITY

Plexus Corporation is an industry leader in servicing high-end electronic components, and provides to over 130 branded companies in the networking/communications, medical, industrial/commercial, and defense/security/aerospace market sectors.

In July 2012, the company broke ground on a new 473,000 square foot manufacturing solutions facility, which includes spaces for offices, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, mechanical operations, and parking for more than 1,000 vehicles.

The new facility replaced three of its existing leased facilities, and for the project, Faith Technologies provided building information modeling (BIM), design-build, conceptual estimating, value-engineering, safety management, constructability review, fast-track scheduling, energy analysis, team management, integrated project delivery, cost control, project management and industrial services.

Our team contributed in the initial budgeting and engineering phases of this project, and had the opportunity to work alongside Miron Construction, the general contractor, and many other great team members. It was completed in September 2013.

In October 2014, Faith Technologies was recognized by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin as a 2014 Build Wisconsin award winner for work at the Plexus Manufacturing Solutions Facility. The project was selected as a winning entry in the “specialty contractor – electrical category,” and was judged based on unique design and craftsmanship, sustainability, innovation in construction techniques, meeting difficult challenges, and earning client satisfaction. It was an honor to be recognized for our work on this local, state-of-the-art project.
