The site has seven 3000A services, two 1200A services at 480V and four 600A services at 4160V. Faith Technologies’ scope of the work included a massive ammonia refrigeration system and a main building electrical package which included site work, building services, power distribution and lighting.
Communication is critical to success on any project, but for one of this magnitude it takes on additional significance. To facilitate communication from the site to Faith Technologies’ Lenexa office, a DSL line was installed to the trailer and a LAN was established. The project team also utilized Constructware, an internet-based project management tool, to track project documents ranging from meeting minutes, RFI’s, correspondences and drawing revisions.
