Project Overview:

The Manitowoc County Law Enforcement Center project consisted of a complete revision of the existing detention center's video and security systems.

Faith Technologies acted as the prime contractor on this project and oversaw the entire project from start to finish. We subcontracted with SGTS, Inc., Joseph Schmitt Construction, and A&A Fire & Security to complete this project successfully.

SGTS, Inc. performed the renovation of the physical security system including a complete rebuild of the facilities PLC and touch screen network, and Joseph Schmitt Construction and their subcontractors performed the installation of new millwork, security door hardware, security window glazing, painting, and carpeting in the central control pod of the facility. Faith Technologies installed a new Axis IP camera system, which consisted of 178 cameras and OnSSI's Occualris DS video management software. We also supplied and installed 19 Dell workstations loaded with the VMS client software, and the Raid 5 level storage area network with 132 Tb of usable storage as well as configuration of the entire CCTV camera system.

Faith Technologies held biweekly formal job meetings with all parties involved on the project. During the off-weeks, we also held informal progress meetings with the county and our staff to discuss any obstacles and the upcoming work for the week. Faith Technologies, the county, and the corrections staff collaborated to help ensure timely completion of the project with minimal interruptions. A quality product turned over upon completion of the upgrade.
