Project Overview:

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation planned a major bridge project in Sturgeon Bay, WI, involving the construction of a new bridge from Maple Street to Oregon Street.

The Maple to Oregon Street Bridge is a concrete, rolling-lift bascule, girder bridge with mechanically driven center locks. The 1,057-ft., 4-inch bridge has eight approach spans with 54-inch prestress concrete girders and a 9-inch concrete deck that varies from 92-1/2 to 93 ft. Each leaf weighs approximately 3.25 million pounds and can be lifted individually.

Faith Technologies' scope of work for the project included dual services, submarine cabling, motors, drives, limit switches, cameras, security, navigational aides, traffic signals and gates, intercom, roadway and bridge lighting.
