Faith Technologies, in partnership with The Boldt Company, completed construction on the four-story Gateway building in downtown Neenah, Wisconsin. The new 85,000+ square foot building is across the street from Plexus Corp.’s global headquarters, and houses its Neenah Design Center.

Due to previous successes and strong working relationships, both the developer and general contractor sourced Faith Technologies early in the planning phase as the electrical design-build contractor. To control costs and optimize quality and safety, Faith Technologies utilized its SmartStart approach, which involved design-build planning expertise, offsite manufacturing and assembly. This early involvement approach reduced manpower by 12 percent onsite, increasing primary time productivity and allowing for zero recorded safety incidents.

Faith Technologies used Trimble’s Robotic Total Station (RTS) during construction via building information modeling (BIM) to identify underground, electrical room, and site layouts for lighting. As a result of this, the installations were 80 percent faster than traditional methods with an accuracy rating of greater than 99 percent.
