Faith Technologies Receives Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2017 HR Award
Faith Technologies Recognized For Its Successful Human Resources Team, Practices
Menasha, Wis. (May 30, 2017) – Faith Technologies, a leading electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor, was recently named one of 10 winners of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2017 HR Awards.
Established to recognize above-and-beyond work that individuals, companies and organizations in southeastern Wisconsin do in the field of human resources (HR), Faith Technologies was chosen in the “large private companies” category. The 10 winners were selected through a nomination process, then evaluated by local HR professionals and Mark Kass, Milwaukee Business Journal’s editor-in-chief.
“Due to the skilled labor shortage, our team is taking a proactive approach to identify new opportunities for training entry-level employees and developing them into skilled tradespeople and leaders,” Jill Hermans, vice president of talent at Faith Technologies, said. “We’ve seen incredible success with our new strategies including increased employee retention and more successful hires through our employee referral program.”
To be considered for the HR Award, nominees were required to have an HR program currently in operation (or recently completed), that needed to be the result of the nominee’s own work, not a consultant’s. All nominees also had to be based in or have significant operations in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Walworth, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine or Kenosha counties.
Faith Technologies and the other winners were honored earlier this month at the annual award luncheon and will also be featured in the publication’s HR Award section.
