Menasha, Wis. (November 19, 2009) – Faith Technologies, a full-service electrical and specialty systems contractor, has achieved two million hours without a lost-time accident. This accomplishment reflects Faith Technologies’ commitment to construction-site safety and demonstrates safety is an integral part of Faith Technologies’ business process.

The company’s commitment to safety is also reflected in their safety credentials. Faith Technologies was awarded the second place Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Willis Construction Safety Excellence Award in 2008, have an industry leading EMR of 0.55, and a recordable rate of 0.

The company achieved its safety milestone with the combined efforts of over 1,500 employees working on numerous projects nationwide since December 29, 2008, without a lost time incident. “A strong safety culture in any organization is dependent upon a commitment to safety throughout the entire company. The responsibility rests firmly on the organization’s leadership to establish priorities and to create a climate in which such a commitment can flourish,” said Faith Technologies’ CEO Rollie Stephenson.

Director of Safety, Ted Sommer, echoed his comments. “Faith Technologies strives every day to meet our goal of zero incidents through preplanning, training and open coordination among the trades,” said Sommer. “Working safely means our employees are able to go home safely to their families each and every night.”
