Faith Technologies Preconstruction Department Expands with Strategic New Hires and Promotions

Menasha, Wis. (Feb. 27, 2014) – Faith Technologies, an electrical and specialty systems contractor, continues to expand its preconstruction department and has recently hired Bill Lynch as vice president of engineering and Nick Salm as director of business development. Along with these additions, Kurt Hietala has been promoted to director of conceptual estimating, and Eric Deering has been promoted to director of preconstruction management.


Bill Lynch

Bill LynchIn his role as vice president of engineering, Lynch is responsible for growing and managing Faith Technologies’ corporate engineering and design groups and aligning them with operational and marketing needs. Lynch has 34 years of industry experience and was most recently the director of project management and site safety, where he was responsible for managing and developing project management staff while ensuring the use of best practices and quality system standard operating procedures. He was also employed as a construction manager, overseeing the planning, budgeting and production stages of projects throughout North America. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Tech.


Nick Salm
Nick Salm
As director of business development, Salm is responsible for leading the sales process throughout the organization by working with project teams in lead identification, sales follow up, proposal development and presentation preparation. Salm has more than 15 years of business development experience, primarily in the residential mortgage market. Salm founded and co-founded companies Ideal Home Lending and Solo Loan Services, Inc. DBA:  solomortgage.net. Through the entrepreneurships Salm has experience leading investor relations and extensive business development managing national business-to-business and consumer-to-business relationships. Nick is also a prideful community member; he has coached football, basketball and baseball at all levels and was named the 2013 Red Smith Youth Coach of the year. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communications and leadership studies from Ripon College.


Kurt Hietala

As director of conceptual estimating, Hietala is responsible for strategic development, implementation and direction of Faith Technologies budgeting and conceptual estimating efforts to proactively market project budgets, develop a system of accurately estimating project costs within limited information and developing a conceptual estimating team that consistently carries out these initiatives. Hietala has been a Faith Technologies employee for eight years and has held roles such as project manager and estimating supervisor. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in production and operations management from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

 

Eric Deering
Eric DeeringAs director of preconstruction management, Deering is responsible for the overall leadership and direction during the preconstruction phase of a project. He reviews the progress of existing projects to ensure their completed within the parameters of the established project budget, ensures successful deployment of project schedule and resource planning solutions, and confirms standards for preconstruction policies and procedures are followed and appropriate resources are being allocated from each department. Deering has been a Faith Technologies employee since December 2001 and has held roles as construction electrician, estimator/designer, senior designer and preconstruction manager. Deering received his A.S. in electrical engineering, and completed the Associated Builders & Contractors Construction Electrician Apprenticeship program from Fox Valley Technical College. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C and Lighting Certified (LC) with the NCQLP.
