Faith Technologies Raises More Than $8,500 for Madison Food Bank

Madison Branch Hosts 13th Annual Charity Golf Outing

Menasha, Wis. (June 14, 2016) – The Madison branch of Faith Technologies, a leading electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor, raised more than $8,500 for the Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin at its Charity Golf Outing. The annual event celebrated its 13th year on May 24 with 136 golfers participating at the Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wis.

Proceeds raised at the event will allow the Second Harvest Foodbank to provide more than 25,000 meals for local individuals. Faith Technologies’ golfers and attendees also donated more than 400 pounds of non-perishable items to the Stoughton Food Pantry.

“Faith Technologies is extremely proud of the generosity shown by our employees, customers and vendors who participate and contribute to this event and to making a difference in the community,” Aaron Bizub, group manager at Faith Technologies’ Madison branch, said. “The annual Charity Golf Outing is a tradition that reflects our company’s core values and commitment to excellence in the community.”

Since 2004, the Charity Golf Outing has raised $76,771 which equates to 372,340 meals for Second Harvest Foodbank. In 2008, the Stoughton Food Pantry was added as a beneficiary and has since received more than 5,000 pounds of non-perishable food items.
