Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Joplin, MO

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition recently traveled to Joplin, Missouri to build seven homes in seven days for families that lost their homes to the devastating tornados that tore through in May 2011. General contractor Millstone Custom Homes approached Faith Technologies to be a part of this edition, and we were thrilled f to be part of this inspiring project!

Faith Technologies’ crew members had the opportunity to work on the Walters family home – one of the seven that were rebuilt. The build took place October 19-26, and our crew of 12 worked around the clock to complete the home on time. The job took about 12 hours to rough, and 10 hours to completely finish the main portion of the build. Even after our work was done, our employees were available to the production crew for the remainder of the build for any repairs needed or to help meet deadlines with the other six homes.

Our crew included Brian Davis, Steve Rector, Loyd Redus, Wes Beebe, Travis Gibson, Levi Bonnivier, Jeremy Moore, Jerry Hudson, Craig Bolin, Lonnie Slocum, and Brad McKinney. Everyone played a large role and did a great job!

Although the build is complete, the Joplin episode will not be aired until January 2012 with a special two hour episode on all seven houses.
