Mike Blise

Corporate Estimating Manager

As Corporate Estimating Manager, Mike is responsible for coordinating and managing Faith Technologies’ estimating resources and performance companywide, as well as overall management of estimating software and best practices. Mike oversees the cost estimation for potential projects, and works with regional estimating managers to ensure Faith Technologies is utilizing estimating resources to the fullest extent.

Mike earned his electrical engineering degree from Marquette University. He began his career working for an electrical contractor in Milwaukee in 1981, and was happy with his decision to relocate to Appleton in 1989 to join what would become Faith Technologies. Mike has enjoyed the challenges and rewards of guiding the estimating department of what was then a $19M company with a handful of estimators, to supporting a $250M company with over 35 estimators today.

Mike’s wife, Sheila, is a science instructor at Fox Valley Technical College, and his daughter, Katie, recently began her college education at Carleton College in Minnesota. In Mike’s free time, he enjoys road biking (with a bicycle that is) and running.
