  • Time Management: Figure out what’s urgent and what’s important, once you organize your tasks within these buckets, tackle them one by one.
  • Learn To Say No: Stick with a schedule and plan of action. Do not deviate unless it is a true emergency.
  • 80/20 Rule: Keep in mind the 80/20 rule that we incorporate into Faith daily.  80% of our success is the result of only 20% of our actions. Prioritize your goals and focus on the 20% that is the most successful.
  • Leave Home Stress at Home, and Work Stress at Work: Everyone has personal problems that can create stress and hinder job performance, and also not being able to separate from work can destroy your at home balance. If you find yourself in these situations, establish your boundaries between work and home and discover outlets and useful ways to alleviate work and home stress separately. This way you can stay focused on home when you’re at home, and work when you’re at work.
  • Break Up Large Tasks: If you have a large task ahead of you, you might be tempted to procrastinate, creating more stress. List the steps necessary to complete the task, schedule time for each step, complete the easiest step first and do not jump ahead.
