Faith Technologies Receives Excellence in Construction Award From Associated Builders & Contractors of Oklahoma
Tulsa, Okla. (October 12, 2010) – The Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Oklahoma recently named Faith Technologies as a 2010 Excellence in Construction winner for their work on the ONEOK Field – Tulsa Drillers Stadium. The full service electrical and technology systems contractor will be recognized at the ABC Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at the Greenwood Cultural Center in Tulsa, Okla.
ONEOK Field, the new home of the Tulsa Drillers baseball team in Tulsa, Okla., won the Excellence in Construction Award in the Electrical $2-10 million category. The 300,000+ square foot stadium is set in the heart of Tulsa’s historic Greenwood district where it complements the future direction of downtown Tulsa. Faith Technologies’ scope of work included preconstruction services, lighting, engineering, electrical, fire alarm, and voice/data services.
The Excellence in Construction Awards Program is designed to publicly recognize the quality and innovation of merit shop construction, and to promote ABC’s belief that a construction project based on price, ability and performance produces the highest quality and most cost-effective project.
ABC of Oklahoma received more than 75 applications for the 21st annual program. After closely examining each candidate’s commitment to safety, complexity, attractiveness, unusual challenges or problems overcome, and innovative techniques or programs, 46 winners remained in seven categories. A panel of distinguished construction professionals from the fellow ABC chapter selected the winners.
