Faith Technologies Receives BUILD Wisconsin Award from Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin

Menasha, Wis. (October 13, 2010) – The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin recently named Faith Technologies as a 2010 BUILD Wisconsin Award winner for their work on the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s West Tower Expansion in Milwaukee, Wis. The full-service electrical and technology systems contractor will be recognized at the BUILD Wisconsin Awards banquet on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at the Warsh Campus Center of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s West Tower Expansion in Wauwatosa, Wis., won the Build Award in the Specialty Contractor – Electrical category. Faith Technologies’ scope of work on the construction of the 12-story hospital building encompassed the low voltage cabling for the telephones, computers, clinical engineering and biomedical equipment, WLAN and over head paging speakers. Faith Technologies’ work also included the fiber optic and copper backbone cabling tie-ins to the existing campus infrastructure, the installation of a distributed antenna system for Verizon Networks, a design-assist engagement with Children’s Hospital for the Cisco WLAN and the sale and installation of a MessageNet EMACS Emergency Messaging Server.

AGC of Wisconsin received more than 65 applications for the 8th annual program. Projects are evaluated by a panel of construction industry professionals, including architects, engineers, city officials and other building experts who select the top projects to receive the awards. After the panel judged each project and awarded project points based on criteria such as innovation, teamwork, overcoming challenges and client satisfaction, 32 winners remained in 13 categories. This is the 7th AGC Build Wisconsin Award Faith Technologies has received.

AGC of Wisconsin is a construction trade association representing nearly 275 general contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, material suppliers and other professional construction-related firms.
