Rollie Stephenson Named Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year

Menasha, Wis. (Nov. 12, 2012) – Rollie Stephenson, CEO of Faith Technologies, was recently named the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year. The Entrepreneur of the Year award is one of six awards given annually by the Chamber to business leaders in the community.

In 1972 Stephenson founded a small electrical contracting service that would eventually become Faith Technologies. In September of 2012, Faith Technologies celebrated its 40th anniversary. The company is ranked as one of the top privately held electrical contractors in the United States, with a workforce of more than 1,500 employees. From 2007 to 2011, revenues have increased by nearly 25 percent.

“I am honored to have received this award on behalf of Faith Technologies,” Stephenson said. “Without the loyalty and dedication of our employees and partners, we would not be as successful as we are today. We’re honored to have been a part of this community for the past 40 years and look forward to seeing what the next 40 years have in store for us. I am confident that we will continue to grow as a business.”

Twelve Chamber members and community leaders were invited to participate in this year’s judging panel. Of the six entries received, two other individuals were nominated alongside Stephenson: Sharon Hulce, Employment Resource Group and Thomas Bishop, Bishop Creative. Stephenson was presented with this award at The Event, a Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce celebration on Nov. 8, 2012 at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, Wis.

Now in its second year, the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce’s Entrepreneur of the Year award is given to a person who demonstrates a strong entrepreneur mindset and who has a business that is guided by values, mission and strategic direction.
