Faith Technologies Receives First Place Recognition in 2012 Builders’ Association Safety Excellence Award Program

Kansas City and Springfield Branches Recognized in Subcontractor Division for 300,001 – 500,000 Work Hours

Menasha, Wis. (March 19, 2013) – The Kansas City and Springfield branches of Faith Technologies recently received the first place award in the subcontractor division for 300,001 – 500,000 work hours in the 2012 Builders’ Association Safety Excellence Awards Program. The award was presented at the Program’s sixth annual breakfast on March 14, 2013 at the Adams Pointe Conference Center in Blue Springs, Mo.

“This award validates the importance Faith Technologies places on safety,” said Ted Sommer, Director of Safety for Faith Technologies. “I applaud the efforts of our employees for their continuous dedication to safe work practices. By demonstrating good decisions and risk awareness, our employees capitalize on consistent organizational communication and learning, which allows Faith Technologies to hold an industry-leading safety record.”

The Builders’ Association Safety Excellence Awards Program recognizes companies with top-notch safety and health programs. The panel of judges consisted of five construction industry and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) representatives. Companies were evaluated based on commitment from company management; active employee participation; safety training; worksite hazard identification and control; and safety program innovation.

Earlier this year, Faith Technologies also exceeded two million hours worked without a lost-time incident, further attesting to the company’s commitment to construction site safety.
