Faith Technologies Included in ABC of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction List

Menasha, Wis. (Feb. 11, 2014) – Two Faith Technologies’ projects have recently been named to the 2013 Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction list. The company’s work on the 2550 University Ave. apartments and Affinity Clinic was recognized at the ABC of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction awards banquet, which took place at the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. on Feb. 6, 2014.

The Projects of Distinction Awards program recognizes the most distinct construction projects in Wisconsin and showcases ABC of Wisconsin members and their employees’ quality of construction performance.

2550 University Ave. Apartments
2550 University Avenue Apartments - Madison, WIThe 2550 University Ave. apartments project was named a Gold-Level winner in the specialty trades – electrical – over-one-million-dollar category. Faith Technologies’ scope of work included building information modeling (BIM), design, electrical, fire alarm system, lighting, security and video surveillance.

The new construction of this six-floor, mixed-use building includes 130 units consisting of approximately 47,000 square feet per floor, eight townhouse structures, three sidewalk-level flats, an 8,600-square-foot commercial space and a 152-space underground parking garage. The $1.5 million project was completed in June 2012. The apartments are located in Madison, Wis.

Affinity Clinic
Affinity Clinic - Neenah, WIThe 32,000-square-foot facility, which was built to accommodate both a medical clinic and urgent care services, was recognized at the banquet as a Gold-Level winner in the specialty trades – electrical – $250,000 to one-million-dollar category. Faith Technologies’ scope of work included all electrical and specialty systems work. The $662,604 project was completed in November 2012. The Affinity Clinic is located in Neenah, Wis. and is currently pending a LEED Gold rating by the U.S. Green Building Council.

In total there were 24 winners recognized at the banquet based on the following criteria: overall distinctiveness, execution of design, craftsmanship, coordination, budgeting, safety, difficulty and unusual challenges. Projects had to be completed between May 1, 2012 and September 30, 2013 to be considered. All general contractor and subcontractor members of ABC of Wisconsin were eligible to submit projects.

The 2013 panel of judges included Jody Andres of Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc., Ryan Novak of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Ludwig Ridder of Ludwig W. Ridder Design, Inc., Clair Urbain of Urbain Communications, Brendan Ganser of Rawhide Boys Ranch and Chris Thompson of The Daily Reporter
