Faith Technologies Announces New Hires and Promotions Within Atlanta Leadership Team
Atlanta (April 22, 2014) – Faith Technologies, an electrical and specialty systems contractor, recently announced additions and promotions within its Atlanta branch. Jody Borne joined Faith Technologies as group manager of the Atlanta group, and John Waldrop joined the company as group manager of high-rise construction. Along with these additions, Chad Akin has been promoted to vice president of the Atlanta branch.

In his role as group manager, Borne is responsible for providing the overall management for electrical and specialty systems construction projects, as well as oversight of staff within the Atlanta group. Borne has 30 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, including project and branch management. Prior to joining Faith Technologies, he served as a project executive for Mark Henderson, Inc. in Decatur, Ga., and Excel Electrical Technologies in Kennesaw, Ga., providers of preconstruction, LEAN/LEED and design-build construction services.
As group manager of high-rise construction, Waldrop is responsible for providing the overall management for high-rise construction projects, as well as oversight of staff within the high-rise construction group. Waldrop has more than 20 years of experience within the electrical construction industry, including electrical construction estimating, business development, client development, scheduling and project management. Prior to joining Faith Technologies, he worked as region manager for Wayne J. Griffin Electric, an electrical contractor firm located in Duluth, Ga.
In his new role as vice president of the Atlanta branch, Akin is responsible for the management and oversight of electrical and specialty systems operations and staff within all Atlanta-based groups. Akin has 20 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, including project and branch management. He has been a Faith Technologies employee since February 2011 and previously served as branch manager.
