Faith Technologies Hosts Job Shadow Experience Day for Local Students
Company Provides an Immersive Opportunity for Students to Gain Hands-On Field Experience in Electrical Design, Engineering, and Construction
Menasha, Wis. (September 29, 2015) – On October 2nd and 23rd, Faith Technologies, an electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor, invites local high school students and recent high school graduates to explore their career options within the construction and engineering fields.
Faith Technologies created this program to introduce students to trade careers, while giving them an opportunity to learn in a fun, hands-on environment.
“This job shadow experience is the perfect gateway to our youth apprenticeship program,” said Sara Mahn, Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Faith Technologies. “Here, students get a full overview of the different areas of work in electrical construction, and how companies like Faith Technologies provide fully paid, debt free skills training to help them fast-track their careers.”
The event takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days, and during this time, students will have the opportunity to learn what a job in each of the following areas entails: field and project management, estimating, engineering, CAD and 3D modeling. Students will be provided lunch, and also have an opportunity to meet with the human resource and project manager staff. Current high school students may be able to earn credit for attending the event; please contact your schools guidance office for more information.
