Faith Technologies Promotes Joe Amara to Safety Director
Atlanta (Nov. 10, 2015) – Faith Technologies, a leading full-service electrical, engineering, and technology systems contractor, recently promoted Joe Amara to safety director in Atlanta. In his new role, Amara is responsible for formulating, developing and coordinating safety and loss control functions for the organization.
Amara has been with the company since 2006, and previously served in a senior safety manager role at Faith Technologies. As a professional safety resource, he provides coaching and mentoring to field employees, project supervisors and management on matters concerning employee, public and environmental safety. Amara visits various job sites to support and encourage safe and productive behavior, while providing feedback to employees on safety and productivity practices. He also develops safety training curriculum and trains employees and customers in company and OSHA safety practices.
Amara graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Master’s degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety. He also holds a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
