Faith Technologies Employees First in Nation to Earn MEP Layout Technician Certification from Trimble’s MEP Training Group

Virtual Construction Team Receives Industry-Leading Training

Darin Marsden, Jason Burkholder, Bryan McMahon, Chris Wildenberg; Koltin Nelson, Rich DeLao, Noah Maher.Menasha, Wis. (Dec. 1, 2015) – Six employees from Faith Technologies, a leading electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor, have become first in the nation to complete MEP Layout Technician Certification including robotic total stations (RTS) training from Trimble’s Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Division, a part of Trimble Buildings and leader in providing integrated building information modeling (BIM) services and solutions for the MEP contractor.

Koltin Nelson (Regional Trainer, Tulsa, Okla.), Noah Maher (Regional Trainer, Kansas City), Rich DeLao (Regional Trainer, Milwaukee), Jason Burkholder (Regional Trainer, Atlanta), Bryan McMahon (Regional Trainer, Atlanta) and Chris Wildenberg (Technology Tool Administrator/Lead Trainer, Neenah, Wis.) completed training with Trimble in early November, and will utilize this new MEP certification to bring industry-leading knowledge to Faith Technologies’ virtual construction team. Faith Technologies currently has more than 30 employees trained in robotic total stations and construction layout software Trimble Field Link for MEP, which enables contractors to perform layout and measurement tasks with maximum efficiency and cost savings.

“The training provided by Trimble will allow our regional RTS leaders to be industry experts and pass their knowledge to our virtual construction team, leading to better solutions for all of our clients,” said Darin Marsden, Director of Virtual Construction at Faith Technologies. “As the first MEP contractor in the country to earn this certification, our regional trainers will help us continue to lead the industry in new technologies that make worksites more efficient, safer, and less costly.”

“The training completed by the team at Faith Technologies was undertaken as a pilot program for MEP contractors in North America,” said John McKay, Director of Trimble’s MEP Client Services. “It represents Faith Technologies’ commitment to adopting Trimble’s transformative technologies, which will allow them to better serve their clients.”
