Faith Technologies Raises More Than $15,000 for American Heart Association’s Kansas City Heart Walk

Kansas City (July 21, 2016) – The Lenexa branch of Faith Technologies, a leading electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor, raised more than $15,000 through its participation in the 2016 Kansas City Heart & Stroke Walk. Faith Technologies celebrated its third year participating in the Heart Walk, the American Heart Association’s premier event, on June 18 with more than 70 employee and employee family member participants.

Proceeds raised at the event will allow the American Heart Association to fund life-saving research and education for heart health. The Lenexa branch began its campaign to recruit walkers and team captains in February 2016 and donations were collected by team members through online fundraising and personal donations. Faith Technologies’ Lenexa branch also hosted an employee cookout, sponsored by Kansas City Electrical Supply, which raised $1,200 for the event.

“Faith Technologies is extremely proud of our employees’ dedication to give back to their community,” Michael Bowman, Regional Vice President at Faith Technologies’ Lenexa branch, said. “The generosity shown by our employees, customers and vendors who participate and contribute to this event is very humbling. We look forward to continuing this tradition and making a difference in our community.”

Since 2014, the Faith Technologies Lenexa branch has raised more than $26,000 for the American Heart Association Kansas City Heart Walk.
