Faith Technologies’ Director of Virtual Construction to Speak on Implementing Field Technology Tools for Trimble
Menasha, Wis. (Nov. 3, 2016) – Darin Marsden, director of virtual construction at Faith Technologies, a leading electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor, will lead a session on implementing field technology tools at the 2016 Trimble Dimensions User Conference on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
The session, Implementing Field Technology Tools – Tips for MEP Contractors, will explore accuracy and speed when implementing the use of field technology tools such as robotic total stations (RTS) and 3D scanning technology. Marsden will discuss increasing productivity and prefabrication opportunities by accurately transitioning critical locations from Building Information Modeling (BIM) to the field, and for use in gathering existing conditions and digital measurements and images for model creation. An elite team of Faith operators was recently trained and certified by Trimble, resulting in a 600 percent increase in overall field productivity.
