Faith Technologies to Power Bazaar After Dark with Mobile Microgrid
Menasha, Wis. (September 10, 2018) – Faith Technologies, a leading electrical planning, engineering, design and installation expert, will light up downtown Menasha with clean energy this week. Headquartered in downtown Menasha, Faith Technologies will display its innovative mobile microgrid that will provide renewable energy to power the lights for Bazaar After Dark, a family-friendly night market organized and managed by Pulse Young Professionals of the Fox Cities Chamber. Bazaar After Dark takes place on Wednesday, September 12 from 5-10 p.m.
Bazaar After Dark travels throughout the Fox Cities during the summer and early fall, providing communities an opportunity to experience local food, live music, interactive games and art vendors under the twinkling lights of the night market.
The mobile microgrid will also provide clean power to the Brigade booth which will feature an indoor hydroponics system sponsored by Faith Technologies. The hydroponics system is a method of growing plants in a water-based, nutrient-rich solution without using soil, and is a solution for growing local food in densely populated areas. The hydroponic system was designed and built by Menasha-based Fork Farms who will be on site to answer questions about the environmentally friendly system.
Bubolz Nature Preserve will also be on hand to share information about its Fox Cities Environmental Learning Campus, featuring a brand-new nature center, updated amenities and event space, and energy programs planned around their on-site advanced microgrid. The microgrid at Bubolz was designed and built in 2017 by Faith Technologies and Schneider Electric to provide the nature preserve with free and clean energy. During Bazaar After Dark, attendees can participate in a solar-activated bead art project.
Faith Technologies invites the community to learn about the cutting-edge innovation right here in the Fox Cities. Faith Technologies team members will be available at the mobile microgrid station to answer any questions about the system or career opportunities that are available.
