Faith Technologies Conducts Electrical Restoration of Historic Hotel Northland
Green Bay, Wis. (March 8, 2019) – Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation, is proud to have been one of the contractors selected to help bring the dream of restoring Hotel Northland to light.
Faith was part of the project from the beginning, dating back to 2016. When the original general contractor encountered financial difficulties, it was unclear whether the project would be completed. Faith chose to stay on and work with the new general contractor, Ganther Construction Inc., to ensure the job was completed.
Faith was responsible for all electrical and lighting renovation, including removal of previous elements. Because the historic hotel is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, this included removing and renovating existing light fixtures to modernize them but keep the history, especially in the grand lobby and other more public areas. Egress lighting was incorporated into corridors and other common areas. A new generator was also required to support the energy needs and bring it up to code as a high-rise building.
