Faith Technologies Awarded Three Gold-Level Projects of Distinction Awards from ABC of Wisconsin
Menasha, Wis. (Feb. 19, 2020) – Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation, was recognized for its work on three innovative construction projects in Wisconsin in 2019. Faith Technologies received three gold-level Projects of Distinction Awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin for:
- Exact Sciences – manufacturing and production facilities: As the electrical and specialty systems contractor for this project, Faith Technologies self-performed all of the lighting, wiring, security systems, clean agent fire suppression systems, building access controls, security cameras and fire alarm systems. Faith Technologies’ industrial automation team also provided instrumentation and control panels for Exact Science’s Buffer manufacturing system.
- Illumina – new research facility: As the electrical and specialty systems contractor for this project, Faith Technologies worked with its manufacturing partner, Excellerate, to design and manufacture prefabricated electrical and specialty systems that contributed to significant labor efficiencies on the jobsite. Faith was also able to utilize the latest LED lighting and controls technology including daylighting, occupancy sensors and programmable scenes into the Illumina project.
- SECURA Insurance – headquarters: On this new 290,000-square-foot headquarters building, Faith Technologies provided input on the electrical and systems scope and was integral in presenting, designing and installing a renewable energy element into the project, with a 749-kilowatts solar system. The ground-mount solar field is part of the campus’ wildflower prairie and the original cost outlay has a return on investment of fewer than seven years. This is based on energy savings along with Focus-on-Energy dollars and energy tax rebates of more than $800,000, which Faith procured for the customer.
“Faith Technologies is always looking to redefine the status quo and our project teams work hard to find the best solution to fit our client’s needs,” said Mike Jansen, CEO of Faith Technologies. “We are proud of our employees for the important role they played in each of these projects and for pushing the boundaries of innovation every day at Faith.”
The Projects of Distinction awards program recognizes the most distinct construction projects in Wisconsin and showcases ABC of Wisconsin members and their employees’ quality of construction performance. Awards were presented on Feb. 13 at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells, where attendees learned about the many high-quality projects that ABC member contractors delivered for businesses throughout the state.
