Quad Graphics

Quad Graphics is the world’s second largest provider of print and multichannel solutions with facilities located throughout Europe, Canada, and Latin America.

In 2010, Quad Graphics acquired their competitor, World Color Press. Then in 2011, Faith Technologies was contracted to consolidate all of Quad Graphics and World Color Press’ data needs into one building location.

Our scope of work was to complete the installation of one 1,200 amp 480 volt feeder to supply UPS equipment. The UPS equipment consisted of two 275 kva UPS units and the generator system, which consisted of one 750 kw generator. Faith Technologies installed all of the power and control wiring between the UPS equipment and the generator system. We also installed a transfer switch and its associated wiring, and the power and control wiring for all support equipment (i.e. chillers, roof fans).

These new components were installed around the existing system and then switched over upon project completion.
